Which yarn base for Double Face Knitting?
Honestly there is no limit to yarn bases for Double Face Knitting. Some bases, like Merino, Lambs wool, Merino Silk blends flow better into one another and the stitches lies smoothly next to each other. Cotton and linen will produce a different look as the stitches will more seperated to each other. And of course you can work double face with acrylis as well. I prefer Merino Silk blends and Lambs wool. As most of my designs are Cowls, I love the softness of Merino Silk, as it's like a endless hug and already working with it is such a pleasure.
